Fulham - Arsenal Increase Schwarzer Bid

Arsenal`s interest in Mark Schwarzer refuses to wane!

The Australian keeper, who made an uncharacteristic error to give his side a nervous last few minutes against Serbia last night, is said t be the subject of a proposed increased bid from the club managed by Arsene Wenger.

Fulham, it is believed, turned down an original offer from the North London club but the word on the street now is that Arsenal are set to make a bid of 3.5 million for the thirty-seven year old keeper.

As that price, and considering his age, could it see a parting of the ways for Mark and Fulham Football Club?

3.5m should do it, though I'm still a little surprised that Arsenal are not going after Frey or Loris.

can we ask for 4? i wouldn't say that schwarzer makes that mistake routinely, but i have seen it before to be honest... is stockdale ready? that's what i really want to know... i want to see him in net soon, but i think he might be a year away...

i think we'll need a stop gap ourselves until Stockdale is ready for the PL!
