Fulham - And Our Next Manager Will Be!

If the tabloids are correct this morning, it`s time to start looking for a new manager.

Both tabloids I picked up seem to believe that (Sir) Roy Hodgson will be named as the new Liverpool manager this coming week.

If that is the case the hunt is on for a replacement and the press haven`t been slow in coming up with two names for what could soon be a vacant post.

The first is that of Mark Hughes.

The former Blackburn and Manchester City boss has been out of work since being axed by City and would, it is said, relish the chance to continue the good work started by Roy.

The second is that of the ex-England boss, Sven Goran Eriksson. The Swede, currently looking after the interests of the Ivory Coast, in South Africa 2010, has reportedly registered an interest in taking over.

Some sobering thoughts to take in we know, but if the rumours are true, who would you prefer to be our next manager - Hughes, Eriksson or someone else?

hughes over eriksson, no question about it... didn't want to see this happen though...

As a City fan, I am sorry if Hodgson leaves you but would advise that both Hughes and Eriksson have their issues.
Wswilly3
and Mancini doesn't?
Red Boy
Thank you for the concern Wswilly. I would say, though, the Man City job has its issues in itself, and it hardly brought out the best in both the aforementioned gaffers. Hughes did a sound job with Blackburn and I'm confident he could replicate it here on the Thames. Still though, rather have Hodgson.

I vote for Hughes, but prepare for player turnover. I can't see Hughes having the same success as Hodgson with the current squad.
Teddy_KGB
I believe Gary Megson is free and would take your job.
Wswilly3
no way wswilly would sooner have hughes but would like roy to stay but maybe roy has come to the end of the road and has acheved as much as he can here we will see
