Fulham - Sidwell Transfer Snag!

After last night, and that dismal England performance, you wouldn`t blame (Sir) Roy Hodgson if he had one eye looking towards the FA headquarters in Soho Square.

Still the prominent candidate for the Liverpool job, there could soon be a more compelling vacancy just around the corner.

Therefore, Roy`s future is still a grave concern for all Fulham supporters. The will-he, wont-he scenario remains unsolved.

It would also seem it is a problem that could hold up our latest transfer quest.

According to rumours a fee has been agreed with Aston Villa for the transfer of Steve Sidwell. However, Sidwell is currently, according to the tabloids, reluctant to put pen to paper until he knows who`ll be sitting in the managerial chair next season.

Wouldn`t we all Steve, wouldn`t we all!

Makes sense to me. Would Hughes bring out the best in him as well though? Or is that something that only Roy specialises in?
