Fulham - Going Round in Circles!

Fulham - Going Round in Circles!

Last season, to bolster our ailing squad, (Sir) Roy Hodgson negotiated the loan signing of Nicky Shorey.

Shorey was registered as an Aston Villa player but had been on loan at Nottingham Forest.

His initial displays, with Fulham, were warmly received by the Craven Cottage faithful but with Paul Konchesky fit again his appearances became more and more restricted.

Fulham never exercised an option to purchase Shorey and he returned to Villa.

News is now emerging that the very same Nottingham Forest, who he made 9 appearances for last season, are keen to sign him on a permanent basis and are looking at table a £2.5 million bid.

Like the title says - going round in circles!
