Fulham - Senderos Move?

Fulham - Senderos Move?

Following the departure of Chris Smalling, to Manchester United, Fulham will, invariably, be looking for some defensive cover to back up the duo of Aaron Hughes and Brede Hangeland.

The latest suggestion, made by the Daily Mirror is that a possible target could be Phillipe Senderos, of Arsenal.

The centre back is out of favour at Arsenal and was loaned to Everton last year where he made 3 appearances.

With the rumours linking Mark Schwarzer to Arsenal it`s also suggested that Senderos could arrive at Craven Cottage as part exchange for the Australian.

What`s the verdict on this one then folks?

Senderos is decent. I think this would be a good signing.

Virtually every centreback is owned by Drogba. I don't know if that reveals too much. Senderos is only 25. His best years are to come. He's also a confidence player. He made some high-profile mistakes a few seasons back and he's not been the same since, but I'd take him over Smalling any day. He just needs a manager to raise his confidence. Plus, I believe he's out of contract at some point this summer, so this might be a free transfer. Hard to turn down.

i dunno... besides the whole drobga issue, which i agree that he owns everyone, i have watched too many arsenal games, and watched him too many times and seen with my own eyes that he's not good enough... i will worry constantly while he is on the pitch... I usually only dislike one fulham player at a time, but with greening and senderos, seems like that will change...
