'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - Adios Roy?

Could there really be a major upheaval at our club in the coming week or two?

The Sunday press are adamant that Liverpool are going to up their pursuit of Roy Hodgson, in fact the media are now of the belief that an approach to secure his services will be made imminently.

They also remark that Roy, once Fulham have granted permission for Liverpool to talk to him, is ready to discuss the move north.

Yesterday, there were also rumours that Liverpool were looking towards Guus Hiddink as the successor to Rafa Benitez but the Dutchman has, seemingly, ruled himself out of contention.

And as for Sven Goran Eriksson declaring his interest, I doubt that it would have even registered in the Anfield boardroom as a possibility.

To compound matters one tabloid is even reporting that senior Liverpool players have been asked about Roy Hodgson taking over and that a favourable response was given.

Am I alone in thinking that we`re fighting a losing battle here?

Vital England (http://www.england.vitalfootball.co.uk/ ) is going to be running a predictions league competition during the world cup as well as having a fantasy football game up and running.

Prizes WILL be won in each, so hopefully as many people as possible from Vital Football will get involved?

Football is stupidly frustrating like that. Reach a European final and then lose your manager to a club with a transfer budget of 4 million pounds but loadsa history. *****ers.
