Fulham - Kop Swoop?

Fulham - Kop Swoop?

One of the tabloids carries the suggestion, this morning that Roy Hodgson is on the verge of making a move for the Liverpool full back, Fabio Aurelio.

Aurelio, a former Valencia player brought to Anfield by Rafa Bentitez, has been unable to agree a new contract and is set to leave the club on a free transfer.

A Brazilian by birth, Aurelio is thirty years of age and the tabloid goes on to suggest that signing him would free up a move, to Birmingham, for Paul Konchesky.

Here at Vital Fulham we`re not quite sure how to view this potential deal.

What`s your verdict?

No improvement from Konch, but we do make a bit of money. If it ain't broke don't fix it I think in my opinion.

We missed out on Pogatetz. He's with Hannover, now. Would've rather had a 27-year-old Pogatetz than a 30-year-old Aurelio, but I won't complain about a free transfer, regardless. Sign him up.
