Fulham - Zamora to Birmingham Link (3)

This really is getting as monotonous as the Zamora link to Hull we endured last summer.

After netting nineteen goals last season Bobby Zamora really is hot property and so hot Birmingham seem intent on luring him to St Andrews.

Apparently, according to a leading tabloid, Birmingham have had one official approach rejected but are now preparing another, one that would seemingly want to tempt Bobby north with a promised salary of £50,000 a week.

Fulham, on the other hand, are reportedly trying to tie Bobby to a new deal to disperse all these rumours.

All we`ll say is hurry along boys, we don`t want to lose our Bobby do we?

Birmingham have far and away been the most active club so far this summer, so I'm inclined to believe the rumors, but if this is going to happen, I hope it happens soon as we'll need time to find a suitable replacement.

totally agree, teddy... and from the look of things, if it's going to happen, it WILL happen soon... they wasted no time bringing in a keeper when they weren't getting hart back in any capacity... it's seems they want to get everything settled before the world cup maybe? i hope we get our deal done with bobby, but at the least i hope if he leaves we have plenty of time to look... i couldn't bear the thought of starting the league with david elm at the helm...

Anyone have any ideas if we are ever going to see Andy Johnson again?
