Fulham in Keeper Link!

Fulham in Keeper Link!

With media speculation surrounding the future of Mark Schwarzer, with the keeper linked to a shock move to Arsenal, the grapevine hasn`t taken long in coming up with the name of a replacement.

Rupert Murdoch`s television giant Sky Sports, are reporting that Fulham are showing an interest in the Crystal Palace keeper, Julian Speroni.

Speroni, an Argentine, has been liked with a move to other London clubs with Queens Park Rangers and West Ham United in the frame.

At thirty-one years of age, his experience between the sticks has seen him voted as the Palace Player of the Year for the past three seasons and he could well serve Fulham well, especially with the only other candidates to replace a possible departing Schwarzer being the ageing Pascal Zuberbuhler and young David Stockdale.

Keeper talk... does it get anymore boring? Speroni is decent. No Mark Schwarzer, but decent enough.

I hope this link is not the conclusive evidence that Marky is in fact departing.
