Fulham - Another Villa Target?

After taking Nicky Shorey on loan from Aston Villa last season, the gossip columns have us linked to another Villa full back today.

Luke Young, who made his reputation with Charlton Athletic is looking to return to London after convincing himself that he`ll not be able to dispose Carlos Cuellar from the right back spot at Villa Park.

In fact it`s a somewhat disgruntled picture of Young painted by the tabloid running the story with the implication that Young believes no matter how hard he tries he`s never afforded the same treatment as some of other players at Villa.

With Martin O`Neill having to sell this summer before he can buy, he`ll be hoping that this rumoured interest from Fulham, and also from a London rival of ours in West Ham could go on to generate some cash to rebuild his own side.

Getting older, but still decent. With Pantsil firmly established, I'd rather go for youth at RB.

Not really required. Let him go somewhere else.

Who ever he goes to , will get a bloody good right back who can cover at lb He is the on player us villa fans dont want to leave, if he wasnt retired from international footie and playing, he would be goin to the world cup
meakers
i do believe that meakers, and i do rate him, but i don't see him replacing panstil at right back, nor do i want him to... he'd be a great player to have since he can cover on the other side of the pitch, but i just don't see us having the room for him to start, and i bet that's exactly what he wants to do...
woodysweats
good player chaps, would rather he stayed at Villa but 'something' has happened that the manager doesn't play him anymore!
The Fear
didn't he lose his brother in a tragic accident last summer?
