Fulham - Zamora Prices Himself Out?

The tabloids seem to be having a field day do they not!

Our season hasn`t even been over two weeks and already the tabloids have us hawking the crown jewels around!

Apparently, according to one renowned tabloid, Birmingham City have not only been sniffing around Bobby Zamora and offered a fee but they`ve come to the conclusion that, in order to capture their target, the weekly salary would be too high and his re-sale figure not worth the outlay our club wants.

And there we were thinking Bobby was recuperating from his injury!

Tabloids! Don`t you just love them?

I'd prefer him to stay, but if the price is right, adios. This will be like the Hangeland to Arsenal story. We'll probably have to endure it all summer.

still 20 mill me thinks but know I ask can we afford the wages he will want time will tell teddy

Difficult to predict his future. We can offer him the money and the games, but, I get the feeling he might want to try something new. It might be because of the stick he felt he received. Perhaps he would prefer to start afresh and get into the good books of another set of fans. Who knows?

should stay on with the side where his bread is buttered

I think he should stay, he knows Roy and the way he likes his players to play and it works with Bobby, I'd like to see him have another season like the last one and prove to everybody he really is a top draw striker and with a fit again AJ it could be the dream partnership for Fulham next season

there's no question that if he stays it would benefit the club. i also think it would benefit him too though... if you look at the final as a microcosm of the way we play, everything goes through bobby... he is great at linking up play, holding the ball, and he added finishing to his skill set this year... when he came off, we were reduced to a conterattacking team, with not enough firepower up front... dempsey is not a link up forward, and may not even really be a forward... the best way to showcase your talents is with a team that works their offense through you... look at berbatov on spurs and compare to his years at man u...

good call woody. bobby took time to settle and his work rate was bigged up by roy....publicly! Dont think many managers would do this, especially if the goals were not coming. Bobby was not brought for goals aj was, but how fortunes have turned!!!
