Fulham - Bullard Latest!

With Hull City having vanished through the relegation trap-door, rumours are in circulation about our former midfield player, Jimmy Bullard.

As you`re probably aware, Bullard left Fulham in somewhat acrimonious circumstances to take up the offer of a £45,000 a week salary, on Humberside.

Well relegation will hit the Humberside club hard and attempts will be made to dramatically reduce the wage-bill, to stave off administration.

Our sources tell us that Hull were hoping to offload Jimmy to Glasgow Celtic but were dismayed to find out that the Glasgow side were only prepared to take Jimmy on loan for twelve months, thereby, in effect, only delaying the problem.

Unless off course Hull City can rise from the dead and make a quick return to the Premier League, something we doubt very much!

Good move or bad move now Jimmy?

He would've had a runner's up Europa cup medal if he wasn't so impatient and a little greedy. Any chance of you lot taking him back?

Jimmy was only ever likely to leave on a season long loan, so I can't see anyone at Hull City being 'dismayed' about it, it's what everyone expects(whatever your 'sources' tell you). PS - Do us Hull lads a favour, if you're going to write an article about us, at least get our address right, there's no such place as Humberside, we are in the East Riding of Yorkshire, thanks.

Bullard did what he thought he had to do, and got paid well for it for a season or so. At £5m, we made out great in the deal, so I have no ill will towards Jimmy. He only has a few more season left on those knees. I suspect someone will come along and pick him up for £3m or so. Hull can't afford to be too picky.
