Fulham - Your Europa Final MOTM!

Right, the disappointment is behind us (who am I kidding?) and it is time to leave the Europa League Final behind us.

Besides, who was it who said that winning wasn`t the be-all of it but taking partis (he`s lying!)?

But, taking our minds back to that heady night in Hamburg when we got so close to a anything can happen penalty shoot-out, who did you vote for as your man-of-the-match?

Well we had three stand out candidates, three players who hogged the majority of the vote - Dickson Etuhu, Simon Davies and Zoltan Gera!

But who, out of those three, triumphed?

Without waiting for the fanfare of trumpets, here are the results:-

1st - Simon Davies - 27%
2nd - Zoltan Gera - 21%
3rd - Dickson Etuhu - 20%

Did we get it right?

Davies got the goal and almost a second. Gera worked his tail off, as usual. Etuhu was solid all game. Could've gone to any of them, IMO. Even could've gone to Zamora for just hobbling out there on that bad Achilles. I wouldn't have had a problem with any of them.

for me has to be davies gave his all as they all did but the gole has to clinmch it

davies could have solidified the award by bagging a second in regular time... but so it goes... murphy and etuhu were shockingly bad passing the in first half... but etuhu turned it around after halftime and played hard the rest of the match... he never gave up and never looked tired... my kind of player...
