Fulham - The Legend Speaks!
As a youngster was there ever anyone who had anything to do with televised football who had more sensible views than Jimmy Hill?
A Fulham legend, Hill was behind the abolition of the maximum wage and had more than a decent playing career before moving into television punditry.
Now 81 years of age, Jimmy can only be seen during those rare flashbacks to a bygone era that many a satellite channel shows.
But, on the eve of the biggest night in our long history, Jimmy has found his way into the media out-pouring, relating to tonight, and is quoted as having remarked,
"This season has been lovely. I am very excited at what they have achieved and I pray they win."
Even if you`re confident I`d imagine the odd prayer or two wouldn`t go amiss.
