I think the title says it all to be honest. This is an article I can safely say I never thought I would be writing.
It's not a piece about how we're tracking the latest young talent, it's not an escalating rumour of an imminent managerial departure. This is simply a wish of good luck to the Fulham boys and a thank you from myself. I'm sure that thank you is echoed throughout our World Wide support too.
There is no doubt in my mind, win or lose come tomorrow night, that this has been the best season in Fulham Football Club's history.
It's been a year of fulfilled dreams, stifled critics, astounding displays and above all, belief.
The players never let us down, and the fans never let the players down.
We started off as pure minnows. It was a competition we entered with many a doubt. I for one remember commenting on its inevitable effects on our final League Standing. However, it has proven to be our escape from the weekly drone of Premier League football.
We were given the opportunity to explore Europe and show the World exactly what a team can do with a mixture of faith, spirit, organisation and pure talent.
We sure did show them too. My head has yet to quite get itself around the enormity of our success this year. Of course, we haven't won the trophy just yet, but, outcome ignored, we, as Fulham, have achieved something special and something to be proud of for years to come.
I take this opportunity to applaud Roy, every team member and everyone tied to our oh so wonderful football club for what they have achieved of late.
It's taken some grit and determination but I think we have already received our deserved award.
We are Fulham.
