Fulham - Zamora Misses out on England Selection!

Unfortunately, it looks like the Achilles injury Bobby Zamora has been suffering with in recent weeks has played a part in Fabio Capello`s selection criteria for his provisional party for the 2010 World Cup.

With the Italian naming a squad of 30 with the proviso that form and fitness would be taken into account before making a decision, it transpires that Bobby has not, despite claims to the contrary in the tabloid press this morning, make the list.

Here at Vital Fulham all we can offer is commiserations to Bobby plus an aside that Capello doesn`t know what he`s missing!

the door isn't shut completely although his admittance that he needs pre-match jabs didn't go down well with Fabio

Yep, the Achilles injury put to bed any hope (slim or otherwise) that he had.

agreed... he has to be gutted, but realistically, he wouldn't have made too much of an impact with that achilles...

Oh by the way, Putney, you may want to redo the poll. We're playing Atletico, not Hamburg.
