'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - The Cookie Crumbles!

Sad to hear today that Chris Coleman lost his job at Coventry City.

Chris was a loyal servant to Fulham Football Club enjoying a good playing career, until a car crash put paid to that, he then managed the club between 2003 and 2007, in difficult circumstances.

But, the fact that Coventry finished 19th in the Championship this season ensured that his job was always going t be at risk for an ambitious club with a smart new stadium to fill.

Speaking about his departure, the Coventry chairman, the ex-Manchester City defender Ray Ranson remarked,

"The board would like to place on record their thanks for his efforts over two and a half years."

Has it really been two and a half years since his Real Sociedad debacle ended?

We`d like to wish Chris good luck in attaining another position in what can be a cruel game!

he doesn't have the best track record, does he? will he be a good coach in the future?

They collapsed at the end of the season; something like 11 matches without a win. A single win during the span could've put them comfortably in mid-table and probably preserved his job. I think they fell apart during the run-in last season also. Not going to keep your job with two seasons like that.

Had a feeling this was coming after seeing their results over the last few weeks, shame but that’s the way it is in football these days, if you don't deliver you’re out the door, they got spanked by Watford at the weekend 4-0 that’s not going to help
Oldwolf
losing to Watford, by that margin, was the crunch I'd suggest!

sussed out I'd say! sorry Chris but you were never my managerial cookie!
