Fulham - Hodgson To Rest Players Shock!

If anyone had any doubts that several key players will be rested this afternoon then the pre-match words of (Sir) Roy Hodgson) have blown them away.

Speaking about the possibility of pushing for a top ten finish, Roy explained to the listening reporters,

"Thursday was our 59th game of the season and the players have been outstanding."

"I don`t have a big squad and many players have been involved in a large number of games. We`ve still got four to go so it is going to be quite incredible."

"More attention will now focus on the final and everyone will understand that."

"It would be nice if we could keep our league form going but I can`t keep whipping these boys time and time again."

"They could crack up but they haven`t done so for 59 games so maybe I will get another four out of them."

We understand fully Roy and if numerous changes are made, considering the opposition we have left, I`d imagine the suited gentlemen down in Soho Square might willingly turn a blind eye!
