Fulham - Coining It In!

In these financially prudent times, it`s interesting to read that our involvement in the Europa League has been something akin to a minor financial goldmine.

Now whilst it`s never going to be as lucrative as its big brother - the Champions League, the rewards our run from Lithuania to a return to Hamburg, have, according to some media sources, netted us around 8 million.

Furthermore, if we can continue the dream and beat Atletico Madrid that figure will rise to something like 12 million.

Then, there is the opportunity to earn even more revenue when, as potential winners of the Europa League, we`ll be asked to participate in the European Super Cup Final, against the winners of the Champions League (either Bayern Munich or Inter Milan).

Plus, it gets better, a triumph in Hamburg will give us a chance to defend our trophy so the whole process kick-starts again!

Money, money, money, it`s a rich-mans world!

it's all in the balance now... it's a reward, both in pride and in cash, for the hard work done the previous season... to do it again next season would be a treat...

Hopsfully the financial rewards will help us continue to stabilise plus the attraction of playing in europe again should mean if we are battling for top players against other clubs (out of the top four) we offer more! Its been an amazing year. gonna love the summer even more if we win.
Good point Leonestar, the draw of European competition is a great bargaining tool in attracting players
