'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - Hamburg`s New Boss!

With Hamburg having bid 'Auf Weidersehen` to their manager, there are currently two trains of thought going around.

The first suggests that the change will provide Hamburg with a fresh impetus, an impetus that could see them reach the Europa League Final whilst the second implies it could led to confusion with a new man in charge, confusion that could benefit Fulham.

Or as Paul Konchesky puts it,

"That can work either way."

"You can get rid of a manager and it`s disappointing, but the team can respond and do well for whoever has taken over."

"It`s happened so close to the game so they are up in the air."

"They have to get their minds right for the game whereas we`ve had a week to prepare."

And as for the result, Paul is quick to dispel the expectancy that we`re the favourites, remarking,

"Maybe because it`s 0-0 people expect us to go through. But it doesn`t always work like that."

Bring it on, I can`t wait!

Moral can go either way, but it would have had a negative affect on their training, be it disruption or just the new manager calling the shots. The players might not think to much of the temporary replacement. Either way, we can beat them at the Cottage even when their at full strength! COYW!

Made a fantastic point RC. No matter whether they're on top of their game or not; we can still do 'em over! COYW!!

By all accounts, Labbadia lost the dressing room months ago, which can be interpreted two ways: 1) incompetitent manager or 2) arrogant players. If he indeed lost the squad months ago, you'd have to assume that they weren't listening to him during their awful second half of the season, which might suggest that the 'players way' doesn't work very well. Who knows what to expect.

we need to take care of ourselves, and the rest will fall into place...

Wounded animal or not....i think we will show them a difficult time at the cottage!
