Fulham - Zamora Edging Closer to Call-Up!

It`s something we`ve covered many times this season but something that refuses to go away.

With the Wold Cup getting closer by the day, many of us have given up hope that our 19 goal scoring sensation, Bobby Zamora, can make a late impact on the international scene and therefore grace the World Cup stage.

But in the News of the World today, Bobby gets a big boost from one of their journalists, Neil Ashton who is of the opinion that a dip in form for Emile Heskey and Carlton Cole, could finally see Bobby give a chance.

With Fabio Capello set to name his provisional squad in May, keep your fingers crossed that the name of Bobby Zamora makes it onto the list.

Well deserved!!! England's target man- Loads better than HESKEY. .

The last world cup england attended, we took players on reputation and not their performance and fitness. Bent missed out after being the top english striker in the prem. I hope capello does not go down this road because Heskey and Carlton Cole have done sweet fa this season. Bobby deserves to be on that plane. He has remained fit most of the season and scored goals. But the most important thing is his work rate. Does more than crouch. He is a nightmare for defenders and thus our success in europe. He has humbled many an international defender, a certain Juventus and World Cup winning captain........

If this guy isnt on the plane then what the hell is going on in Fabio's head! he's been class this season and that goal against Wolfsberg was outstanding

he's the real test: would you swap bobby for heskey? i say no! would you swap bobby for cole? i say no, but i might think about it for a second as cole is younger, no? but bobby for me, and so bobby for england!

Woody, aren't you from the USA? You should hope they bring that over rated tub Heskey. I shudder at thinking of having to defend a Zamora/Rooney line.
