'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham 0 Wolves 0 (Yawn)

In a game that was so dour it hardly merits a full match report, there really is very little to write home about.

Fulham took to the field without the services of Brede Hangland, with his wife having a baby, and despite a lot of hustle and bustle, from both sides, the two goal keepers had very little to do.

The one bright moment that had me jumping out of my seat came, in the second half, when Bobby Zamora turned and hit a beautiful low shot that crashed against the post.

Apart from that it was a case of soaking up the rays from the sun, relaxing in a London devoid of aircraft in our skies and looking ahead to our trip to Hamburg on Thursday.

Speaking about what was really a non0event, Roy Hodgson had this to say,

"Against Wolves, it wasn`t a case of thinking about Hamburg. It was a case of dealing with a team who are difficult to play against.

"We didn`t draw because we had our minds elsewhere but because we came up against a team determined to get a point and sweat blood for the cause."

Now what time does my flight leave for Hamburg?

As roy said after the wigan game, there will be a game that we will not perform, and lose! Was this it?..... but we did not lose. Im very happy with a point. We just (on goal difference) lead the race for tenth. With other clubs failing we are now in the driving seat. Everton and Arsenal away and stoke, west ham home. I feel confident on 6 points from the home games and 2 points from the away games. 51 points for the season!!!!!

Could've been worse, I suppose. Should've been a win, but it didn't happen. On to Hamburg.
