Fulham - A Fresh Scharner Bid?

Fulham - A Fresh Scharner Bid?

The Wigan midfielder, Paul Scharner, has on several occasions been linked with a move to Fulham.

His versatility and adaptability make him a viable acquisition as he is able to slot into central defence or play a role in midfield.

Any previous enquires for the Austrian international have floundered, however, there is a suspicion that a move this summer could prove to be successful.

We understand that the relationship between Scharner and his club isn`t all that it could be and after being substituted, against Portsmouth, in midweek, Scharner stormed straight up the tunnel.

Could this be the summer we finally get our man or has time diminished (Sir) Roy`s interest with the boss perhaps having set his sights on someone else this summer?

I guess only time will tell!

He'd be a free transfer this summer, so unless our priorities have changed or a bigger club shows interest, there's a pretty good chance he'll be with us next season. I was against paying for him, but if he's free, then fine by me.

Im now very bored of this story.....if he will be free, then sign him!

avoid him... he's a hot head and we don't need that in the club... i am pretty convinced that he won't be set straight by roy or danny or hangeland... he just seems like a stubborn person... we have a real good club chemistry, and i'd like to keep that...
