Bobby Highlights a More Worrying Concern

Could (Sir) Roy be on his way out of Fulham to join a bigger club in the summer?

Bobby mentioned that the success Roy has brought to Fulham has got people talking.

I am worried as Roy may wish to make the best of his recognised achievements and make a move to a bigger English or European club, or go international!

One more challenge and trophies before he hangs up his boots?

Or does Roy wish to build a strong premiership side and thus become Fulham's Greatest Manager?

We all know too well, being Fulham supporters that all good things come to an end.

In our case the good things are all too short and end very abruptly sometimes. It would be nice for lady luck to smile on us a bit. But I would love Roy to stay till he decided to retire and play a major part in the choice of his successor.

Your thoughts please!

Roy is still ambitious and I imagine will want to enjoy further success in Italy or on an international level, I wouldn't blame him, he has served Fulham well in his short time here and will be remembered forever

The rolling one year contract suggests that losing Roy to a bigger club (foreign or domestic) is a real possibility. There's really not much we could do to stop it. Hodgson is more valuable than any player we have in the squad. To be honest, I've been waiting on something like this to happen; always hoping, of course, that I was wrong. Time will tell.

well big mo give him a 10 year contract 1 mill per year who can disagree with that and a nice war chest this is our best chance
truth sayer ffc
small change to big mo me thinks

i think he's very happy where he is, and i don't see him taking up a job overseas again... i think he'll wait for the england job, or maybe take another international position...
