Fulham - Striker Woes!

Fulham - Striker Woes!

Fulham enter the important fixture in Germany tonight, with their squad decimated by injuries to their strikers.

(Sir) Roy`s options have been hindered with Bobby Zamora not having trained due to the kick on the Achilles he`s been suffering from and with David Elm having to undergo hospital treatment after picking up a virus.

Also with Andrew Johnson out for the season things are not looking to healthy!

But matters worsened yesterday when news broke that Clint Dempsey would also not be available after picking up a muscular injury, with (Sir) Roy explaining,

"Clint Dempsey got fouled against Wigan on Sunday and had a scan yesterday. It is a muscular injury to his leg and it will keep him out for a period of time."

"We`ve been stretched all season. But there are enough players in our team with European experience for us to cope."

Let`s hope so Roy as we`ve come so far on this journey it would be a shame to fail now with injuries being an influencing factor!

We're better with Dempsey, but we've played well enough without him. I'm not terribly concerned, as long as Zamora is fit.

Let's hope Dempsey returns in time for an inspired piece of brilliance such as his chip against Juve
