'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - Kamara Wants to Remain a Bhoy!

I always had a soft spot for Diomansy 'Joe` Kamara, ever since his brace against Manchester City kick-started our dramatic great escape that season.

But it appears that, if Joe has his way, we`ll not see him in a Fulham shirt again.

Joe, on loan at Glasgow Celtic has announced he`d like to continue in the Scottish League next season, remarking on the official Celtic site,

'I started well here and scored some goals. I am still playing with good players in a good team. I have been so impressed with the club and the supporters and I am still enjoying my time here. My only problem has been this injury.

'I am sad that Tony Mowbray left as I have a lot of respect for him, but this is football. I hope to stay at Celtic as I have been so impressed by this club and I think we can do some good things in the future and I would like to be part of it.'

Now, with Celtic in a transistional stage, manager wise, a lot depends on the new incoming boss, plus we`d hazard a guess that Fulham are not prepared to just give Joe away and would want financial recompense.

Therefore, I can`t help feeling it might have been better for Joe to keep his trap shut until the stable, at Celtic Park, was a little more stable!

Works for me. I was afraid he would want an exit after Mowbray got canned. Wonder how much of his original £6m transfer fee we could recoup.
Celtic are welcome to him... 2.5 million
