Fulham - Hodgson on FA Cup Loss

And so the FA Cup dream is over!

The prospect of Fulham returning to Wembley, for the first time since 1975, is over and now all our focus is on the forthcoming Europa League quarter-final tie with Wolfsburg.

After the defeat, at White Hart Lane, though, (Sir) Roy briefly spoke about the game whilst also wishing Spurs luck. Like the perfect gentleman he is, remarking,

"We played well but we gave away an unnecessary equaliser and then they scored two wonder goals."

"But we played well in the first half and exerted a lot of pressure at the end. Good luck to them."

Instead of an all West London FA Cup Final I fear we could be about to witness a repeat of the 1967 clash between our conquerors, Spurs, and our nearest rivals, that lot down the Fulham Road.

Hope you lot win the Europa League now. You were SCARY in the first half, I thought we could have been seeing a Juve scoreline. Thankfully it didn't happen but blimey you look a decent side under Hodgson. Long may it continue, and I hope you draw Liverpool in the Europa at some point and you kill their season! Good luck fellas
