Fulham - The Juventus Verdict!

Do I really care if the Old Lady of Turin wept after their Europa League demise last night?

No! Off course not!

The Italians arrived full of buster and full of talk of how they were going to restore European greatness to the club by not only winning the tie, against Fulham, but by winning the whole damn thing.

I bet when they got off to a dream start by extending their lead inside the first two minutes they thought the job was half done.

It`s amazing how perceptions can be so easily overturned inside another r88 minutes isn`t it!

After the game, it`s being reported that the Juventus supporters expressed their disappointment at how things had turned out by pelting the team bus with objects, damn good job that the gladiator era is confined to history otherwise there could well have been a few thumbs down calls.

Their boss, Alberto Zaccheroni, no doubt faces a media inquisition back in Italy and after the game he was a man of few words, only prepared to utter the following,

"The players are very disappointed. We feared Fulham`s intensity but we prepared well."

"We played well with 11, but the first sending off played a huge part in the result."

It may well have but all credit to our lads for taking full advantage of the situation. How often do we read about ten men being harder to break down than eleven?

It was our night, end off!

How can they justify losing a 3 goal lead .. Any team which does that deserve to lose (Even with ten men).. Juventus please don't talk about european glory ... U don ****ing deserve it

true. if you can't protect a 3 goal lead in europe, you obviously don't deserve it... but credit to the fulham players... zamora open his mouth before the match, but played to back it up and got his goal... his flick on for the second was crucial... they all played great... what a match... bring on wolfsburg...

perhaps Juventus main problem was they scored too early :-)
