'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - Juventus Are Up For It

Juventus may have seen their preparations affected buy injuries but there`s no doubt the Italian football super power are coming to West London to do a job.

One of their stars, and a household name in the world of football, Fabio Cannavaro, has stepped forward ahead of the clash and told us exactly what the Europa League fixture means to the club, remarking,

"We have already demonstrated the power of our attack and now it is time to use our heads and play in a practical manner to get through."

"Victory is not guaranteed but the tie is in our hands. No one in the squad believes we will waste this chance even though Fulham will pile on the pressure."

"After failing in the Champions League we must get to the final of this competition - it`s the minimum we owe the fans."

"We must dominate because I`m sure the Londoners will attack from the first minute."

It promises to be an intriguing affair, the only downside being the deplorable 18:00 hours kick-off, now someone tell me again what is that all about?

Murphy IS suspended! Greening is out, as well, so I'm curious who'll get the central mid assignment.

yeah teddy, it should be interesting... i'm pushing for dempsey with gera and zamora in front of him... start davies on the left, and bring in either riise or nevland as a sub at the 60 min when davies has run his course...

I feel like Duff is a little better at pushing the team and distributing. I'd hate to lose him on the right wing, but you have to do what you have to do.

Well done, well done! How about that Clint Dempsey? Pink and purple boots does the job!

As a Pompey fan, I have a lot of time for you guys, because you play some nice football and you've got a first class manager. I could not have been urging your fellas on any more than I was this evening, and I'm really delighted for you guys that you managed to turn Juve over. Not only turn them over, but do it in ninety minutes. Have a good night, as if you needed any urging.
