Fulham - Juventus Are Vulnerable!

After going down 3-1 in Turin last week, there was always the suggestion that getting into the last eight of the Europa League would prove to be a mighty difficult task.

Juventus are no mugs when it comes to defending and the longer the game goes on the more players Fulham will have to throw forward if they are to get through.

But the world moves in mysterious ways and Juventus arrive in London with 8 key players not available courtesy of a mini-injury crisis (I knew a prayer or two in church might work!)

Of these eight players, two are their chosen keepers, Gianlugi Buffon and Alex Manninger, leaving an experienced third choice to keep us at bay. The other absentees are - Giorgio Chiellini, Martin Caceres, Sebastian Giovinco, Michele Paolucci and the suspended defender, Nicola Legrottaglie.

And, if any reassurances about Juventus being able to concede goals need emphasising then perhaps we should point out that they were 3-0 up against the bottom side in Serie A on Sunday, before drawing 3-3.

I bet you all feel a little better now!

what's the status with del piero? he didn't play against us in the first leg... and we need to pour on the shots to test this third string keeper...

Unless I've got it wrong, we need to win 2-0 to advance correct? Wouldn't fulham advance on away goals?

Yep. 2-0 would do it.
