Fulham - Juventus Vibe (7) - Foul Play?

Inevitably there are a plethora of facts available ahead of the clash in Turin tonight between Fulham and Juventus.

This particular one caught my eye though and I thought it might provoke the odd comment or two.

Life as a centre-forward isn`t always as straight forward as it seems, goals provide confidence whilst a drought brings added pressure.

Often, when the ball is played long aerial battles happen, battles whereby the odd nudge, the odd push and the odd collision take place.

Tonight, watch how often Bobby Zamora will get buffeted by the Italian defenders, notice how many times he appears to get an illegal nudge and notice how many times he fails to get the verdict.

You`ll be astounded!

Just like I was when I found out that Bobby Zamora is currently top of the list for fouls committed, by players in the competition, since the group stages commenced with a staggering 25 fouls!

Referee! Where`s the justice?

I sometimes wish Bobby would grumble less at officials, that way they may be more sympathetic

He'll get no calls tonight, I'm afraid.

that's probably true... he needs to get his head right and get to business...

As ever he was punished, mostly unfairly, particularly the offside late in the 2nd half
