Fulham - Juventus Vibe (6) - A Home Viewpoint!

Fulham - Juventus Vibe (6) - A Home Viewpoint!

After eliminating Ajax in the previous round, Juventus share the same ambition as us, namely to reach the last eight.

Having been instrumental in the scandals that rocked Italian football a few years back, the Turin club had to claw their way out of Serie B to get back into the big-time.

It has been a hard process and the 'Old Lady` hasn`t had much to smile about recently.

Currently, Juventus lie fifth in Serie A and their French forward, David Trezeguet, has ahead of the fixture, championed his own sides cause remarking,

"We want to win the Europa League and finish fourth in Serie A to qualify for the Champions League."

"We haven`t won anything for years. It`s time to show everyone we`re still Juventus and a strong squad which will command respect throughout Europe."

Whilst there`s nothing too feisty in those words, they do show that the 'Old Lady` is ready to battle to restore the Turin side to their previous lofty position. Whether it`ll be at our expense remains to be seen!

Have to believe that 4th place in Serie A and a CL spot takes priority over the Europa League for a team like Juventus.
