'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - Juventus Vibe (3) - Hughes on Tiredness!

Once again, in Northern Italy, our gallant side will be asked to push their tired bodies to the limit in pursuit of glory.

Roy Hodgson has already expressed his fears about tiredness derailing our season, especially with the injuries we have and the limited numbers available.

Whether the buffers will be hit tonight, at Manchester United on Sunday, or in the return leg against Juventus, remains to be seen.

Hopefully, it`ll not happen, hopefully a second wind will see us through to May.

Speaking about tiredness, our central defender, Aaron Hughes, has remarked ahead of the clash,

"You forget about the tiredness with all the excitement."

"When you were eight or nine years old, if someone said to you in 20 years time you would be playing Juventus, Manchester United and then Juventus, you would have taken it. It is something we are all looking forward to. These are the games you want to play in."

"Juventus would certainly be a scalp to take and everyone around Europe would sit up and take notice of the result."

What concerns us it that it might not be physical tiredness that affects us but mental tiredness producing elementary mistakes. Let`s hope we`re worrying about nothing folks!

I think we'll be up for tonight's match, but I fear that tiredness will show at Old Trafford.
