Fulham - A Hero Is Returning Home!

Reports are filtering through that our Norwegian forward, Erik Nevland, will shortly be returning home.

The web is alive that Nevland will be returning to play for his home town, Viking Stavenger.

Apparently the Norwegian forward will be leaving on a free transfer to play for a club where he has hero status.

Here at Vital Fulham we`ll be sad to see him go but who are we to bitch about a hero returning home to his legions!

This might be the reason he hasn't been playing. Anyone know the actual reason?

he served us well... i'd love to keep him, and i won't begrudge him if he goes...

He's done well for us and been an excellent substitute (a role which he gladly assumed, I might add). Time for some new blood, I guess, but we'll certainly miss him.

top player who always gave his all.....gave so much in the season we nearly went down....loved the goal against birmingham last home game 07/08.

A great performer and good servant to the club, not as potent as he once was. He deserves the hero's welcome that awaits him.

Read in News of the World that Viking was also looking to sign Fredrik Stoor (maybe).

I was hoping he'd stay with us - bit disappointed if I'm honest!
