Fulham - Interested in Dawson!

With Chris Smalling living his personal dream next season and moving to pastures new, at Old Trafford, the tabloids have implied that moves are afoot to strengthen our defence ahead of next season.

Today, the tabloid media, well one in particular, has put forward a name that Fulham are supposedly interested in.

The player in question is Craig Dawson, the Rochdale centre back.

Now Dawson is part of a Rochdale team that could well do something exceptional as far as sides from Spotland do, namely, win promotion.

But, even so, the prospect of pulling in a suggested fee of £1,000,000 for the player could prove to be too tempting for them to resist.

However, there is a down side; the tabloid suggests that Fulham have rivals for his signature in the form of Tottenham.

Wouldn`t you have thought that with one Dawson (Michael) in their starting eleven already, they`d be satisfied?

I'm not sure how old the kid is, but I understand that he wants to play first-team football and so was interested in the bid Swansea made for him. In terms of getting a game, he has a better chance with Fulham than with Spurs' enormous squad
