Fulham - Get Crouch!

After his two goals for England, against Egypt in midweek, Peter Crouch could well be the Spurs danger man today.

The tall striker was, as we`re all aware, a target for Roy Hodgson last summer, in the build up to the game, Roy has given a brief insight into how the move floundered, remarking,

"Peter expressed an interest in coming here and then we had some dealings with his agent."

"But it soon became apparent he was on his way to Tottenham. Harry made it clear to me that`s what would happen."

"We`re old friends and he rang me up to tell me. He said he rang me to spare me the heartache."

I suppose you`ll never miss what you`ve never had!
