Fulham - Happy With Cottage Lot!

Back in the summer, many thought that Brede Hangland might well be tempted by a move away from Craven Cottage.

As it turned out Brede quite happily signed a new contract and it would take a huge offer for Fulham to sell him now.

With our fixture, up at Sunderland, fast approaching, Brede has offered some words relating to his decision to stay and the way things have turned out this season, commenting,

"We are definitely having a good time - this is something we didn`t think would happen a couple of years ago when we were in a relegation battle."

"It has been great to be a part of the Europa League run and we also have the FA Cup to look forward to."

It does seem almost surreal doesn`t it, especially after our premier League future looked bleak, to say the least, before we launched that great escape culminating in that day at Fratton Park.

Well done Brede- good decision

Right player for our club. Gets on with the job in a quiet unassuming way.

He could very easily become a true cottage legend, if he stays here for a few years. The key to our continued success is keeping Roy, in our very club v country question. What do the English Fulham fans think, would you rather Roy was managing Fulham or England? I’d have to go for Fulham
