Opinions of the television pundit, Mark Lawrenson, are accepted by people differently.
Some hang on to his every word whilst others are quick to pull him up on every point.
Personally, I sit somewhere in the middle, sometimes he talks sense and other times he talks rubbish, but that` sonly my thoughts.
But today he`s come up with a real great suggestion that I`d whole-heartedly support.
Following our elimination of Shaktar Donetsk, in the Euoropa League, Lawrenson has come up with the suggestion that Roy Hodgson is the perfect candidate for manager of the season, remarking,
"What an achievement for Hodgson to lead Fulham into Europe, set up a meeting with Juventus and put the club on an even keel. They really are a blue-print of how a club should be run."
"When we look back at achievements at the end of the season, Hodgson should be talked about in the same breath as the boss who wins the Premier League, Champions League and so on."
"It`s an incredible achievement for Fulham and Hodgson should be on the shortlist and, depending on the rest of the campaign, then he should be right up there."
