Fulham - Zamora Injury Complications!

One downside from last night is a niggling little injury that Bobby Zamora picked up.

Bobby was forced to limp off, in the second half, to be replaced by David Elm after picking up a minor Achilles injury.

The injury is likely to keep him out of our encounter with Sunderland this weekend but, more importantly; it could scupper his chances of being selected for the forthcoming squad for the friendly with Egypt next week.

Damn!

I never thought I would say this but I am glad Zamora is missing against us on Sunday.

Lets be realistic here. Zamora's chances of being selected are slim. However, even if he was to be selected, what would his contribution be? Only recently, Bullard was a shock call up, but he was simply a bench warmer. Different areas of the pitch I know, but it is something to bear in mind. And with such a short time left, will Fabio really want to tinker some more, or will he prefer to perfect what he has already found effective? In my opinion it will be the later. Bobby's brilliance has shone just a little too late I think.
