Fulham - McLeish on Zamora

And finally, from the late, late, late win over Birmingham City, come a few more words on the credentials of our flavour of the month, Bobby Zamora.

Alex McLeish has endured three defeats, in quick succession, on trips to London and must hate the sight of the place, but, and fair credit to the man, he still took time out to offer a few words on our Bobby, remarking,

"Bobby Zamora was a thorn the whole day long, he was perhaps the difference."

"If Capello is looking for a certain type, and I know he saw Heskey as a guy who could help other members of the team by bringing them into play without him being a prolific scorer, Zamora is as good as anybody I have seen at keeping the ball up there."

Now that is some recommendation from somebody who has worked at international level is it not!

he's managed a good team this year, and he's been gentlemanly... he should be respected for that...
