Fulham - Hodgson to Buy this Summer!

The current injury crisis has emphasized just how fragile our squad size is.

Roy Hodgson has openly admitted that we`re down to the bare bones and that any rotation is out of the window as it`s just about feasible to name eighteen fit first team squad members for the fixtures.

But it seems Roy has already started to prepare plans for next season, plans that include strengthening the squad and asking Mr Al Fayed to provide the finance to do so.

Speaking, ahead of the fixture with Burnley tonight, Roy has remarked,

"We will be seeking some quality additions as we`ve run the squad right down."

"We have until the summer to persuade the chairman that all the support he has given in the past isn`t yet finished. But he has always been very supportive and I have no reason to think he won`t be now."

Does anyone care to have a guess at just how many quality players we should be looking for to make that vital step-up to the next level?

Or do we need to buy just to maintain our current level?

The key word is 'quality.' I'm not interested in any more Dikgacoi, Elm or Kelly types. I'm certainly not interested in any more Adranik, Kallio or Stoor types. Attacking central mids is the order of the day!

i'd agree with you in terms of elm and kelly... and certainly no more adranik and kallio type players... but i think dikgacoi has potential... but i agree that we need attacking center forwards going forward...
