Fulham - More Hodgson on Johnson Chat!

Concerns mount about the immediate future of Andrew Johnson.

Yesterday we reported on comments made about Johnson possibly being out for the remainder of the season.

Today the tabloids are reporting that Johnson is heading off to America to have an exploratory operation on his troublesome knee with the renowned surgeon, Richard Steadman, overseeing the procedure prompting further comments from Roy Hodgson after the game,

"There is a risk he will be out for the season but also some optimism."

"They will go in, see what the problem is and fix it."

Our concerns remain though, how serious is the damage and for just how long will we be without our record signing?

We have no choice to but to remain optimistic, do we. It's not as if we could send him to another club. We'd never recoup the transfer fee; or even 50% of the transfer fee.
