Fulham - It`s County for Us!

Surely the scene is now set for a resounding FA Cup run!

When the draw was made we were paired with the winner of the outstanding Wigan v Notts County tie. Last night, Notts County surprised there Premier League opposition, at the DW Stadium, with a 2-0 win giving the League Two side, the lowest ranking side still left in the competition this year, a tie against ourselves, at Craven Cottage.

Talking about their shock win, the Notts County caretaker manager, Dave Kevan, had this to say,

"If we can go to Fulham and put on a performance then who knows?"

"We will go to Fulham full of confidence and belief that we can cause an upset."

Now whilst not wishing to be seen to be belittling our opponents, you have to ask yourselves just how much of a threat they`d pose if Fulham were on top of their game?

A Fulham win would see us march into the last eight, a feat which we done last season, but this time around there`s no Arsenal, Manchester United or Liverpool to worry about!

Like I said, this could well be our year!

I would love to agree with you, but at the rate of these injuries you have to wonder what players Roy will put on the pitch for these games. I still believe we won't be pulled into a relegation fight (thinking we will beat Pompey tonight), however, Roy did say that the Prem is still his No. 1 thought. So will the FA cup and Europa league be too much at the moment along with the Prem?

i hope not... and even if we put our b team out there, they should surely be able to beat a league two side, no? i'm sure we'd draw chelsea if we make it past notts...

Have to agree completely with Riverside Chanter. Under the current circumstances, I don't see how Roy could risk losing Zamora, Duff, Hangeland or Hughes. Maybe he'd use them in the quarters, but not in the 5th round.

Lets play the youth team....haha

so close though - last eight beckons - surely we won't cock this one up!

So will we see Sven at the Cottage then :-)
Putney

Glad we got County.

Although it was a good win for them against Wigan!

If I had to reduce focus on any of the upcoming games I would choose the Europa League. The Premier League obviously comes first, but who wouldn't want to go to Wembley for an FA Cup Final?

one off game the whole squad will be up for it and then a good draw at home will do for me
