'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - Not So Royal Roy

Previous to our 3-1 FA Cup victory over Accrington Stanley last Saturday, Roy Hodgson instructed our players to get changed into their kit in a luxury hotel, rather than utilising Stanley's facilities.

That rather dubious decision has been met with some very strong morals from those up in Lancashire, who have slammed Roy's lack of respect and in this case, tradition.

To add to that, it would appear Hodgson spent much of the match complaining about Accrington's aggressive tactics and overly rough style of play.

Now, it is very unlike our humble club, and for that matter, our very humble manager, to be the ones voiding traditions and general British mannerism.

Based on that, are the Northern Club just being picky and exaggerating the claims?

Whatever really did happen, at the end of the day, our manager will have just been doing what is best for the club.

I think 'that lot up there' are just making the most out of a simple gesture designed to increase our chances of winning.

maybe they feel that roy's complaining led to they're captain being sent off... i can hardly disagree though, as they were playing a bit too rough for my liking... and as for the dressing room, that's very interesting indeed, after sir alex had a go at our dressing room!
