Fulham - Deal Set to go Ahead!

The mystery surrounding the long and protracted move of the AS Roma star, Stefano Okaka, to Craven Cottage still meanders along live that fast flowing river.

We understand that a loan signing is almost inevitable now after Roy Hodgson explained that several obstacles to the deal were slowly being overcome.

Speaking about the situation, Roy has remarked to the media,

'We've monitored him for a long time, before we were drawn against Roma in Europe.'

'His name was well known to our scouting staff.'

'The deal is on. It was never really off but there have been a lot of problems to iron out.'

'I expect him to join us from Monday. He won't be in line to play against Aston Villa on Saturday as Roma want him available for their game on Sunday.'

Anyone prepared to lay odds on the lad picking up an injury playing for Roma this Sunday?

The way our injury list has been growing it certainly wouldn`t surprise me if such a thing were to happen!
