Fulham - It Just Had to Be Us!

Do you know what really irks me about the defeat last night, what really had me spitting feathers?

No it wasn`t the fact that we were so unlucky with injuries, no it wasn`t the fact that in his keenness to impress Bjorn Helge Riise had an unfortunate hand in two of their goals and it wasn`t even the fact I got delayed on the tube and then missed my last bus home.

What galls me the most is that the name of Fulham will now go down in the history books as being the side that Spurs were playing when the Spurs full back, Gareth Bale, enjoyed his first win against any team in the Premier League, when in the starting eleven, since joining from Cardiff City in May 2007.

Balderdash!

Haha, we have a lot more weird statistics to break. For instance Tottenham has now played 65 away games in a row against ManUtd-Arsenal-Chelsea and Liverpool without winning :) Bale has been our MOM for the last three matches btw:) Last comment: Your manager, Hodgson, is a gentleman. Always polite and calm. You should cling on to him. Makes other teams respect you!

yeah a silly little stat, but annoying none the less... how much would spurs need to split with him? he impressed me and he's second choice at the moment, no?

I think you would have to put at least 12million on the table, but I am not a board member :) He is somewhat second choice yes. Ekotto is better at defending, Bale better at attacking. He is still only 20, so bright future. Your LB isn't half bad either is he? Konchesky?
NorwaySpurs
I'd stick with Konchesky for now. Good left backs are difficult to come by and we've got one there.

certainly missed him last night didn't we!
Al Billy
yes we did...
