Fulham - Roy Hodgson on Spurs Defeat

I guess Roy could have thought of a better outcome for his 100th game in charge but giving our current inclination to provide poor results on the road, it`s probably no surprise that we lost at White Hart Lane.

Following a performance that saw us put up a good fight but lose to two goals that were poor ones to lose defensively, Roy had this to say in his post match interview,

"We were unfortunate with the second goal. I would have been less disappointed if they had scored when they started well in the first 20 minutes."

"I`m still proud of the performance. It was a brave performance and hard-working with the injuries we have."

Indeed, there were so many injuries that the starting eleven last night resembled one of those scratch elevens fielded in the early stages of the Europa League!

you have to be positive i guess... but he was also true in saying that the scoreline was true to the game, because we really didn't look like we'd score...

and failing to score, away from home, is the root of our problems!

We never had a chance. Five mids and Zamora up top gave us no chance. Poor tactical decision by Roy, I'm afraid.
