Fulham - Egyptian Targeted!

With no concrete news relating to the possibility of a deal for James Beattie actually going through, reports are swamping the internet that another deal is in the pipeline.

Apparently, Fulham are looking towards signing the Egyptian international striker, Mohamed Nagy!

Nagy, who has been participating in the African Cup of Nations, is a twenty-five year old striker who has scored three times in Angola, making him top scorer.

But, it appears we have competition for Nagy with Steve Bruce, at Sunderland, also monitoring his progress.

What isn`t clear, yet, though, is that there is no indication of how much of a fee his club, Al-Ittihad, would require for his services.

Having not watched hardly any of the action from Angola, can anybody shed any light as to whether this lad is any good or not?

i haven't been able to see the games either... this could either be a great signing, or a foolish one inspired by a hot streak in an international competition...

Sign for the future in the summer. Right now, we need a proven goal poacher.

He's a quality player. But I'm not quite sure if his style fits the EPL, Maybe in the Spanish Liga. Here's the goals he scored so far in the tournament. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xf93nVd3pI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tcNX4p2xbM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gx8nKkH7bjA In the final video he scored the third for Egypt

And I think it's worth a punt. Sounds like a similar buy to Amr Zaki.
