Fulham - Dempsey Takes the Honours!

As we contemplate a tricky looking FA Cup 4th round tie, at Accrington, a tie that could see us cruise through, struggle through or be the victims of a shock, perhaps we should wrap up matters relating to our last fixture.

Up at Ewood Park we fell victim to our consistently poor, results wise, away form. Once again we flattered to deceive and once again we lost one of our more influential players, Clint Dempsey, to injury.

But, whilst Clint contemplates life on the sidelines recuperating from the knee problem he picked up, perhaps he can seek a tiny amount of solace that his performance, at Blackburn, even before he was forced to leave the field of play was good enough to earn him the accolade of man-of-the-match with an enormous 75% of the vote.

It looks like we`re going to miss Mr Dempsey whilst he`s out injured doesn`t it!

Yet again he made the difference, despite the poor score line.
