Fulham - Hammers Want Zamora Back?

With our East End cousins, West Ham United, now under new ownership, we didn`t believe that it would be too long before the first of many transfer rumours surfaced.

And we were not wrong!

Nestling amongst the gossip column in the Daily Mirror is the suggestion that one of the first possible moves the new owners could make will be to pursue the return of a certain Bobby Zamora to Upton Park.

As we`re all aware, we signed Zamora and John Pantsil from West Ham as a package. Since joining us the pair have blossomed and this season Zamora has gone on to become a possible candidate for South Africa 2010.

Now, with Bobby currently being injured, we have a suspicion that any January transfer deal is a definite no-go; however, what`ll happen in the summer remains to be seen.

Would Bobby take a return journey East?

You never know!

Hmm. He's clearly had his moments with our fans, so he might just consider it. I'm sure he respects what Roy and the club have done for him though!

I think he'd go if the offer came down. Of course, I don't know how he and Carlton Cole would play together as they both play essentially the same position. They must be expecting Cole to depart at some point.

not so - Gold and Sullivan reckon none of their stars will be sold!
Al Billy
but would Bobby want to drop into the Championship should be the burning question!

ooooooooohhh vicious... what about a swap of bobby for carlton?

Badger - you cheeky young pup - get back to your creche!
rosshammer
bit of banter going on - I doubt very much whether Bobby would go back - once bitten twice shy!
Putney
Good point Putney. Can't see him making the move myself. As it stands, it's a step down.
KBFulham
all the way to the Championship :-)
Al Billy
oi! that's my line :-)
Fulham Badger
He loves the hammers and if the money is good and they stay up, i would not be suprised of a summer move if roy is offered 5-6 million
Leonestar
I think we can cheekily value him higher than that.

Two dreamers, they'll be lucky to attract any big names
